#116 | Madea Cinematic Universe

Tyler Perry is back with his first feature film in over two years, “Boo! A Madea Halloween.” Is it worthy of a Bad Movie Night or is its wig askew?

Besides Tyler Perry’s latest adventure in a mu-mu, we also discuss FOX’s “Rocky Horror Picture Show” remake, Donald Glover becoming young Lando Calrisian, the latest episode of “Atlanta” being a surreal RPG set in the club, and Azealia Banks versus Russell Crowe and The RZA. In addition to our usual pop culture hijinks, the crew also perform an in-depth analysis of AT&T’s surprising acquisition of Time Warner, what it may mean for Warner Bros. and DC Comics, and if Ma Bell is really the MOM Corporation from “Futurama.”.

Join Brandon, John, Kareem, Ken, and Jamison as we discuss, dissect, and try to make sense of the past, present, and future in film, television, music, animation, race relations in media - and on occasion comics and tech - while trying to remain sane. If you’re tired of hearing the same (*ahem*) monochromatic take on modern media, we’re the podcast for you!
