#120 | “Atlanta” Season 1 Mega-Review (feat. Joshua Alston)

AV Club TV critic Joshua Alston joins Brandon and Ken this week to discuss, dissect and obsess over the first season of our new favorite show, “Atlanta”. Over the course of an hour, we discuss the FX show’s use of surrealism, music, and avant-garde formatting, as well as our favorite scenes, characters and assorted hijinx over the course of the season. Later, Ali joins Brandon in a discussion of the season finale and what it means in relation to the rest of the series.

Join Brandon, John, Kareem, Ken, and Jamison as we discuss, dissect, and try to make sense of the past, present, and future in film, television, music, animation, race relations in media - and on occasion comics and tech - while trying to remain sane. If you’re tired of hearing the same (*ahem*) monochromatic take on modern media, we’re the podcast for you!
