#147 | The Grammy Electoral College

While the 2017 Grammys were a week ago, the dust from the Album of the Year fallout has far from settled. Everyone has a thinkpiece as to why Beyonce’s “Lemonade” lost to Adele’s “25”. However, they’re nothing compared to the bomb that Village People founder Victor Willis dropped claiming there’s a secret society that picks the real winners. Truth, fiction or sour grapes from a Beyhive member? We don’t know. In addition to discussing the Grammys having their own electoral college, we also talk about Ice Cube’s new film, “Fist Fight,” “Man Seeking Woman” on FXX, Jidenna’s debut album, Nick Cannon quitting NBC and much more in the latest Say Something Nice Podcast episode.

Join Brandon, John, Kareem, Ken, and Jamison as we discuss, dissect, and try to make sense of the past, present, and future in film, television, music, animation, race relations in media - and on occasion comics and tech - while trying to remain sane. If you’re tired of hearing the same (*ahem*) monochromatic take on modern media, we’re the podcast for you!

Great episode as usual guys! LOL @ Brandon’s Diana Ross shade. Also, I thought the Sly pic they used during the Grammy’s was actually Sly’s brother Freddie (I could be wrong though). Looking forward to next week’s podcast!
