SSNPod #219 | The “Justice League” Spoilerific Review Show (feat. LaTria) | #sayhowyoufeel

The Day Hath Come! “Justice League,” after a decade of planning and fanfare, has finally been released to theaters. The SSN Crew and special guest LaTria all saw it opening weekend like dutiful comic book and film fans. And what did we think of it, pray tell? We wouldn’t dare spoil it. Actually, we would. But only after first giving our non-spoiler assessments of the film. We also discuss the film’s box office performance and the future DCEU films. Finally, we discuss Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot, being called a hypocrite in her criticism of Brett Ratner as a sexual predator.

Join Brandon, John, Kareem, Ken, and Jamison as we discuss, dissect, and try to make sense of the past, present, and future in film, television, music, animation, race relations in media - and on occasion comics and tech - while trying to remain sane. If you’re tired of hearing the same (*ahem*) monochromatic take on modern media, we’re the podcast for you!

Thanks for the #Poopamount shout out in this episode.

The funniest part of this episode (besides the “Poopamount”) was Brandon going off about the way Lois Lane was portrayed in the movie. Can’t lie, I wasn’t a fan of her being reduced to a woman who might actually watch the Megyn Kelly NBC Morning Show.
